también quería compartir una canción del grupo La 5ta Estación que me gusta mucho. Tanto la letra como la música. Para variar encontré el video en youtube.
Just hace unos días me llegó un combo CD/DVD que me compré de una versión acústica que grabaron. Lo estoy mirando en este momento y está muuuuy bueno.

Sounds of the World Cup

Hi people,
I just found out about this song that was composed the next day of the world cup final by 3 french guys. It is now a hit record in all of France and parts of Europe I think. I don't know french so can't tell what it says, but I read some translations and the lyrics are quite funny.

Anyways that's not why I'm posting this song/video. The reason I'm doing it is because I'm amazed of how quickly the world can react to an event such as what Zidane did. With those 3 amazing guys who composed it so fast and how it spread on the radios and internet after that. On a personal level I think I've had 1,000 talks and energetic discussions about the whole deal. Crazy eh? ;-)

Hola a Todos,
este post va en español.
Hoy me enteré que si uno escribe "el cumple de mateo" en Google y apreta el botón de I'm feeling lucky (o en el idioma que sea) aparece mi blog!!! Que tal???? La verdad que me siento muy orgulloso de eso jajaja. No se cuanto durará eso, pero hagan la prueba ;-)

July 4th Fireworks!!

Hi Everyone,
here's a playlist of videos of the Independence Day fireworks I recorded from a friend's house in Washington DC.
The fireworks where incredible, way better than "La noche de las luces" (my uruguayan friends will know what I'm talking about). They lasted about 20 mins. After they finished what else could we do? Drink beer of course!!
